Venair was established in 1986 and currently has 33 sales offices distributed throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America; 5 manufacturing centers; 2 warehouses in NA and employs more than 350 people around the world.
Due to our growth and rapid international expansion plans, we are seeking a Sales Operations Specialist for our Merrimack, New Hampshire branch. This opportunity is to be an initial member of a growing sales team and office with highly ambitious expansion plans. This is an in-office role reporting directly to the General Manager, North America.
The main tasks and responsibilities for this role are to:
- Lead generation and cold-calling prospective customers
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Perform business generation activities in conjunction with the Outside Sales team
- Provide sales administration support to Outside Sales
- Prepare and process sales quotations
- Utilize the company’s CRM and the ERP systems to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
- Other sales, administrative, and special projects as needed
The essential requirements for this position are listed below:
- Experience in sales, customer service, manufacturing, operations, technical products, or related experience: 2-3 years required
- Business software knowledge and experience, including MS Office, ERP and CRM (SAP and Salesforce experience preferred)
- Highly organized and disciplined approach to daily tasks
- Willing to interact and communicate with an international team (Spanish speaking a plus - courses offered)
- Highly developed communication skills – internally and externally
- Willing to train and develop the right candidate whose skills and ambition fit the current growth plan
