Job description
As part of our rapid international expansion, we are seeking a Sales Executive for our office in Singapore. This branch primarily supports manufacturers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology, F&B, nutrition, and personal care industries, as well as major FMCG companies in the country.
The ideal candidate should have experience selling industrial B2B products to companies in these industries or selling process related equipment to OEMs and engineering firms operating in these areas. Alternatively, they should have worked within these manufacturing facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Identify prospects and manage the entire sales cycle to close new business, including prospecting, cold calling, business trips, preparing quotations, and following up.
- Visit customers at their manufacturing plants and corporate offices across assigned areas in Singapore.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to generate future sales opportunities.
- Demonstrate expertise in company products to effectively promote their features and benefits.
- Achieve sales goals by following established processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Regularly update the CRM (Salesforce) system with all sales activities and efforts.
- Represent the company at exhibitions and trade fairs, either as a visitor or an exhibitor.
- Perform other sales-related tasks as needed.
Required qualifications
- Diploma in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. A degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience, particularly in greenfield sectors such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or related targeted markets.
- Proficiency in English.
- Proven ability to identify, qualify, and close sales accounts.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Flexibility to travel frequently, with a minimum of 50% of the time.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
