ISPE is committed to the advancement of the educational and technical efficiency of its members through forums for the exchange of ideas and practical experience.

ISPE returns to China for the first time since 2017 as ISPE Shanghai. ISPE was founded in 1980 by a handful of people who believed the pharmaceutical industry needed an organization that would deal with practical applications of science and technology for technical professionals. The much-needed forum provided by ISPE began with a Membership of engineers in North America. In time, ISPE Membership expanded beyond engineering to include a broad representation from pharmaceutical professionals.

Industrial association in China approved by the government. All members are enterprises and research institutions regarding vaccine development, production and marketing. There are 43 vaccine manufacturers as member enterprises. More than ten professional conferences in the field of biomedical science are held every year.

Founded in the 1980s, the China Biological Products Annual Conference (CBioPC) is the most influential academic event in the biomedical field of China, with a history of more than 30 years. CBioPC is led by CAV, jointly hosted by several national associations. It has been successfully held for 22 sessions.

The purposes of CBioPC are to promote the effective integration of technologies, markets, capital, talents, management and other factors in the field of biomedicine at home and abroad, to explore the development and application of new biotechnology and new drugs, to present the updated research results, and to build a platform for interdisciplinary exchange of professional researchers and transformation of industry, study and research.

CBioPC will set up the main conference and parallel sessions, including recombinant therapeutic biological products, vaccines, gene therapy, cell therapy, stem cells, biopharmaceutical engineering and other cutting-edge biotechnology and biomedical investment. The conference will invite academicians from the two academies (Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering), experts from government departments and regulatory agencies such as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China, the National Administration of Disease Control and Prevention and the National Medical Products Administration, as well as CDCs, domestic and foreign universities, research institutes and well-known pharmaceutical enterprises to give academic reports. The reports cover the updated research achievements, cutting-edge technologies, and policies and regulations of biomedical R&D.

The 23rd CBioPC will be held in guangzhou city，Guangdong province. It is expected that more than 8000 representatives from over 2300 enterprises will attend the conference, with more than 200 reports and nearly 320 exhibitors
